First Company Invested – Security Innovation from Boston specializes in software security assurance and cryptography formed a spin off company, SCADA Security Innovation LLC (SSI). This spin off will focus on Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) by developing in concert with AFIT to develop and commercialize technology the needs of the SCADA industry. Funding is initially provided by a State of Ohio ESP investment loan. Currently, SSI is beginning the hiring process and determining their leasing and build out arrangements.
